Hello and welcome to my website. I am Catherine Walters, an artist who lives and paints near Nelson, New Zealand.

My art work is inspired by the flowers, landscapes and colours of this beautiful corner of our country.

After a successful career as an Illustrator and Author, I am now focusing on painting on a larger scale.

I have spent the last 5 years experimenting with my style, different mediums and textures. I am enjoying finding new ways of depicting the countryside around me.
